In September 2009, the Company appointed John Kinyon as Mine General Manager for the Wolverine Mine. Mr. Kinyon has the responsibility of taking the project from construction into operations.

John has over 31 years of domestic and international experience in building and operating mines. His background includes administrative and technical positions with companies like OceanaGold, Barrick and Homestake.

Prior to joining Yukon Zinc, John was the VP of Operations for Oceana Gold in New Zealand. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree.
