In May 2011, the Company appointed Mr. Don Strickland as Mine General Manager. Mr. Strickland has the responsibility of overseeing the operation and growth of the Wolverine Mine (Yukon). Don has over 18 years of experience in the mining industry and prior to joining Yukon Zinc he held senior positions at mines in both Canada and Tanzania including Gibraltar, Endako, Musselwhite, Dome/Porcupine Joint Venture and Bulyanhulu. His background also includes mine evaluation, design and construction management with Placer Dome and Barrick Gold. Don is a Professional Engineer and has a BSc. from Queen's University.
