Yukon Zinc Corporation is currently advancing the silver-rich Wolverine zinc-silver deposit to production. Wolverine is the first development project in the Finlayson District and is the high grade jewel of Canada's newest massive sulphide district. The Goal Net and copper-rich Ice deposits are important targets for future development as they are located in the surrounding District.
A second development opportunity lies in the Rancheria District in south central Yukon. The Rancheria District is known to host a large number of zinc-silver-lead occurrences with similarities to the famous Manto districts of Mexico that have made it the largest silver producer in the world. A resource of 12,300,000 tonnes at 6.17% zinc has been defined on Yukon Zinc's 60% owned Logan property. Further to the west, the Swift property covers a 20 kilometre long belt of zinc-copper-silver showings with the potential for higher grade ores that could be developed in conjunction with the Logan deposit.
